You also deserve to know what’s happening, which decisions need to be made and who is taking care of each detail along the way.From your first consultation and 3D design presentation to Italian production, installation and aftercare, our team will guide you through every stage of creating your Scavolini kitchen.We believe in being transparent from the beginning. Below, you’ll find our complete eight-step process, including typical timings, payment stages and what you can expect from the Multiliving team.

Every kitchen is different, but here’s a helpful overview of what you can expect:
We’ll confirm the timings, costs and support specific to your project before you make any commitment.
Your project begins with a complimentary consultation with one of our experienced designers.
We’ll take the time to understand your home, how you want to use the space and what you’d love your new kitchen to achieve. Together, we’ll explore your preferred style, practical requirements, desired investment and project timeline while introducing you to relevant Scavolini collections, materials and finishes.
You don’t need to arrive with everything decided. Bring your ideas, plans or inspiration, and we’ll help you begin shaping them into a clear design direction.
Next, we’ll present your proposed kitchen design, complete with 3D visuals to help you picture how the space could look and feel.
We’ll talk you through the layout, materials, appliances, investment estimates and anticipated timeline, giving you the opportunity to explore alternatives and refine the details together.
Your complimentary design proposal includes one round of revisions. If you’d like us to continue developing the design beyond this, we’ll ask for a commitment fee, which will be fully deducted from your project deposit when you proceed.
Once you’re happy with the design direction, our Installation Manager will visit your home to take accurate measurements and assess the existing space, structure and services.
This gives our team the technical information needed to finalise your design and prepare for a smooth installation.
The site survey costs £120, which will be fully deducted from the cost of your Scavolini furniture when you proceed.
Once every detail has been approved, a 50% non-refundable deposit secures your order and your Scavolini furniture enters production in Italy.
At this stage, we’ll provide detailed service plans and specifications for your project. As your furniture is made to order, no further changes can be made once production begins.
Scavolini furniture usually takes 8–14 weeks to produce and deliver, depending on the finishes, complexity and level of customisation involved. The remaining 50% payment is due seven days before your kitchen leaves the factory.
Once your kitchen enters production, your project will be personally overseen by the MultiLiving team.
We work closely together to coordinate delivery, installation and the practical details behind the scenes. You’ll be kept updated throughout and always know who to speak to at each stage.
Seven to ten days before work begins, we will return to your site to check conditions.
We will confirm that the space and services are ready, review the installation details with you and make sure everything is in place for the work to begin as smoothly as possible.
Then, we will oversee the fitting process — from translating the final plans on site to installing the last shelf.
Before work begins, your experienced fitting team will be fully briefed on the design and introduced to you on arrival.
We’ll carefully coordinate each stage and do everything possible to minimise disruption. However, there will inevitably be some dust, noise and a period when your kitchen cannot be used.
Where worktop or splashback templating is required, full installation typically takes between two and five weeks, depending on the size, specification and complexity of your project. We’ll confirm a more accurate schedule before the work begins and keep you updated throughout.
Once installation is complete, we’ll carry out a final visit with you, review the finished kitchen and resolve any remaining details before sign-off.
Our support doesn’t end when the installation team leaves. We’ll remain available for workmanship issues for 12 months, while your Scavolini furniture is covered by a 60-month warranty.
After that, all that’s left is for you to settle into your new space and enjoy it for many years to com
