Kitchen Design Process

Now that you know more about our DESIGN CONSULTATION service, here is some more information about the design process. What happens from your initial meeting all the way to installation and beyond. 8 steps to your dream Scavolini project


Book an appointment to come share your dream idea with one of our experienced designers. Discuss your requirements, preferred styles and budget whilst looking at the wide range of collections, samples and your exciting plans will start to take shape. BOOK IN HERE.


Our Designer will review all aspects of the design with you, including costs and anticipated timing. You will have the opportunity to discuss options and alternatives, together with installation to make sure that the final package meets all your requirements. We use our own bespoke 3D software to bring your design to life and get you comfortable with your choices.


Arrange a convenient time for our Installation Manager to visit and carry out an initial survey to take accurate measurements and assess services/current structure. A charge of £120.00 will be made for this visit, which is fully redeemable against the purchase of your Scavolini furniture.


On receipt of a 50% non-refundable deposit, your dream project will start to become reality as it is put into production at SCAVOLINI’s impressive facility in Italy. A further 50% payment is payable 7 days prior to your kitchen being despatched from the factory. Detailed service plans are produces with all specifications and no further changed can be made to the order at this point. The furniture takes from 8-14 weeks to be produced and delivered to your property.


Our showroom coordinator will take care of your installation, delivery of your Scavolini furniture and become your main point of contact. Find out more about our TEAM online.


Our Installation Manager will visit you again 7 days prior to the start of the work, to reconfirm all details, check that everything is ready for installation and run again through the details of your chosen Installation Package. He will be the person in charge of the installation, from what is on paper to fitting the last shelf of the project.


Our experienced Fitting Team will be briefed in advance and will be introduced to you on arrival. Every effort will be made to ensure that any disruption is kept to an absolute minimum, but there will inevitably be some dust and your renovation area may be unusable for some time. On average if worktop/splashback template is required the full completion may take up to 2-5 weeks depending on the size & choice.


On completion of the installation, we will visit to make sure that you are happy with your new furniture and we will be available for any workmanship issues for 12 months, after than period any remedial work will be taken on case by case and may involve a further fee. The kitchen is signed off once you are fully satisfied with our work. We hope that you will then enjoy your Scavolini furniture for many years to come.


All of SCAVOLINI furniture is made to order and depends on the chosen finish, complexity of the order and the amount of customisation it may take from 8 week to 14 weeks for the order to be produces. It takes 1 week to be transported from Scavolini factory to our warehouse in Datchet, where we normally deliver next day to our clients.

Once the furniture is confirmed, it can’t be changed as it is in production. Changes related to appliances specifications or worktop finishes may be possible but those will be looked case by case. If any stock has been ordered and received, restocking fee and admin fee will apply.

All Scavolini furniture is coming with 60-month warranty.

Although rarely, we experience damages during transportation. Those are photographed and reported to the factory for immediately replacement. If the damage item is at acceptable condition we will fitted it for the time being and once the replacement arrives, we will re-fitted.

Don’t worry we understand, and we are lucky to have our own warehouse facility. Just let us know as soon as you know that the project is running late, and we try to accommodate your request for a small storage fee, as per our T&C.

Of course, if you provide us with the brand and model number at the time of the order, so we can check that will fit within your brand-new furniture. However, we strongly recommend replacing any older than 5 years old appliances simply as the look is outdated and may not match the overall design of our brand-new furniture.

We provide the service of full removal and disposal of old kitchen/bathroom per individual quote, please seek a member of our staff for pricing.

All packaging is carefully taken to recycling facility, in fact we have a recycling station at our warehouse in Datchet.

No problem, you may benefit of our full installation service where we take care of the full project management from organising all trades on site and running the whole project on your behalf.

The price depends on the size, worktop, appliances, door finish and all internal elements used. We looked to our kitchens as investment rather than expense. As a guidance point, we say furniture cost vary from £12k-£30k and then appliances, worktop, installation are added.

We like to pay our staff fairy and all deliveries are chargeable. For kitchen delivery to kerb site the price is £250+VAT and for bathroom order £150+VAT. In case you have opt in of our installation service, the delivery will be taken to the grout floor of the property. Any special requests will be charged additionally.

All our design consultation and design proposals are free of charge. This includes one revision of the presentation; any further amendments will require commitment from you in a form of partial or full deposit payment.

Each appliances brand has it is own warranty terms. On completion you will be kindly prompt to register those yourselves, unless you have opted in for our registration service of £250+VAT per project.

On completion we will provide you with handy pack containing the manuals of the appliances used. Our office will provide you electronically with document with the details of appliances used-brand, model, EA number, where you can register them yourselves. You will need copy of the appliances invoices, which will be provided to you.
